What Critics Are Saying:

Captivating… The illustrations fill the whole of each page and are wonderfully colourful with lots of detail and facial expressions. We spotted something different each time we’ve read the book.

We fell in love with Bella the cat in the first book and the sequel, The Tower Bridge Cat And The Baby Whale, doesn’t disappoint. … Both books get a big thumbs up in my house. My son loved them and just as important, I enjoyed reading them with him.” - Red Kite Days

Fun storylines featuring Bella the Tower Bridge - and her friends - are accompanied by beautiful illustrations for each letter of the alphabet.” - The London Planner

“Full of wonderful illustrations, this book series is ideal for primary school children, or as a bedtime story for younger children.” - Claire Jacobs, Single Parent Pessimist

“Jack really enjoyed reading this book and learning all about the Tower Bridge Cat, Bella. The story was really interesting and the characters were great too. As a parent, I really like the illustrations – I think they are well designed and Bella the cat has such a cheeky little face!

These are great books for kids around 5-10 years of age – it is easy to see why this book is the winner of The Best Children’s Publication – A.C.E. Product Awards 2019!” - Rebecca Smith, I Always Believed In Futures

A children’s classic in the making” - Londonist

“Beautiful illustrations and a great ‘tail’. I love this book! Visually very appealing, a true story with a twist - fabulous and so totally impossible to resist.” - The Association Of Cultural Enterprises

“Ivy adores this exciting story and we have spent a lot of time poring over the vintage-style illustrations.

This book gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling … we’ve only had it a few weeks but it somehow feels like an old, familiar friend. I am looking forward to lots of snuggly winter evenings reading it with my girl.” - Shelley Edwards, Ivy’s Library

“Both stories have adventure and excitement without any scary bad guys so they are the perfect bedtime (or anytime) story books.

The vocabulary used is really varied and, whilst the story is easy to follow, there are some words in there which children of the target age range may not encounter everyday … it’s so important that we don’t dumb stories down and that we expose children to a range of vocabulary so I loved the attention given to the words used.

You don’t often find such amazing illustrations in a children’s story book. They are beautiful and so detailed but very much designed with children in mind, and help your child to understand the text by explaining what is happening in the form of pictures.

This is such an original idea for a story series … I really hope that more books are released, and to be honest it would make a lovely TV cartoon.

Rating: 5/5.” - Deborah Banasko, What’s Good To Do

The Tower Bridge Cat is a beautifully illustrated, enjoyable story that captures younger readers minds. Having my 7 year old brother read it to me, I experienced this firsthand as he got caught up in the action and emphasised the larger, bolder words, a clever idea to help younger readers expand their story reading skills. The story takes you on an exciting journey, meeting key characters and showcasing one of London’s most iconic landmarks.
